
Professor and researcher Miguel Ángel Lacabana, a faculty member at the National University of Quilmes (UNQ), is currently undertaking an academic stay at the University of Florence, Italy, within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ KA171 programme. This programme funds short-term teaching and training mobility opportunities for university staff, promoting international exchanges and strengthening cooperation between European institutions and partner countries outside Europe, such as Argentina.
During his stay, Professor Lacabana is participating in a seminar series on the topic “Circular Economy and Sustainable University.”
It is important to highlight that Professor Lacabana participated in the project “Higher Education Partnerships for Sustainable Local Development through Circular Economy and Social Innovation” (HEADCET), which supports Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay in addressing sustainable development challenges by improving their relevance to labour markets and society as a whole.
